Last month, our Bon Accord Care Board members and some of the wider team made a visit to our Balnagask care home to chat to the team and those we support.
Whilst at Balnagask, the amazing Dance for Dementia session was underway, a fun hourly session of singing, stretches, dancing and laughter that takes
place on Thursday afternoons.
Dance for Dementia is held by local Citymoves Dance Agency, who host Dance for Dementia sessions throughout many of our BAC services. The session demonstrated the positives that music and movement has on individuals and the incredible impact this has on physical and mental wellbeing! A huge thank you to Citymoves Dance Agency and to the team at Balnagask!
