Bon Accord Care Appoint New Managing Director

Bon Accord Care have announced the appointment of their new Managing Director, Dr Louise Henderson. The decision comes after a rigorous recruitment and selection process.

She officially takes up the position from 15th July, having successfully served in the organisation as Head of Delivery and Development since August 2022.

Incoming Managing Director Lou, shared some of her thoughts about her appointment:

“I am excited to continue the great work that staff and I have started together, during my time as Head of Delivery & Development at Bon Accord Care (BAC). Connecting with people who access our services and those who provide them, along with our partnership organisations, has been a highlight of my time with BAC. I'm really looking forward to further developing those relationships in my new role as Managing Director, working with others in innovative integrated ways to continue the great progress we have seen to-date in delivering our strategy for 2023-2026. To help people in Aberdeen meet their health and wellbeing outcomes, a key area of focus in our organisation continues to be embedding our values of always Respectful;  Integrity; Teamwork and Accountability (RITA). Our partnership working and these values offer a solid foundation to promote high-quality sustainable care that really does 'Make a Difference' for those we support and those who work with us. “
