World Mental Health Day 2024!

For World Mental Health Day our Kingswells Care Home had a visit from Joyful Ponies & Pygmy’s, who offer a range of animal assisted therapy services.

Our residents spent time petting and cuddling miniature ponies Millie and Ruby, who brought a smile to all our resident and staff’s faces! 

Spending time with animals is known to enhance health and happiness, reducing stress, keeping us calm and happy. A huge thank you to Joyful Ponies & Pygmy’s, what an amazing day!
