We offer a high quality, personalised service in the privacy and comfort of your own home, or Very Sheltered Housing, to allow you to remain in familiar surroundings, and enjoy the benefits of having family, friends and personal possessions around you.
Our friendly and specially trained Support Workers are available to meet your specific needs. They are ever willing to do what it takes to make life as simple as possible for you, ensuring your privacy and dignity are protected at all times, and help to maintain your independence and the lifestyle to which you have become accustomed.
If you feel you would benefit from some help at home, the first thing to do is contact the social services department to ask for an assessment of care and support needs.

Housing Support
As part of our housing support, those tenants living in Aberdeen City Council Sheltered Housing that are entitled to receive assistance can expect the following from our Senior Personal Carer:
Senior Personal Carers are available from 8am to 6pm, 7 days a week, at all complexes to ensure that tenants maintain their tenancy and are provided with a safe, secure environment that positively impacts upon their daily life.

Telecare Service
Telecare is an adaptable range of technology used in the home to help you to live independently, safely and with confidence. It provides peace of mind for you and your family, and greatly assists with earlier returns from hospital.
Our dedicated team of telecare experts have the knowledge and skills required to offer a bespoke solution to match your needs, ensuring that you get the equipment that is right for you. An installation and maintenance service is also facilitated through the team.

How can I access the service?
Your doctor, care manager, occupational therapist, nurse or other health professional can refer you for an assessment for Telecare. Alternatively, you can contact our service direct to discuss your requirements or complete the below referral forms.

Day Centre
Adult Day Care is a planned programme of activities designed to promote well-being through social and health-related services. The benefits are two-fold:
• To give caregivers a much-needed break in which to attend to personal needs, or simply rest and relax.
• To provide older adults an opportunity to get out of the house and receive both mental and social stimulation.
Kingswood Court Day Centre, is attached to Kingswood Very Sheltered Housing Complex in Mastrick, short or long term care is provided here.
• The team specialise in supporting those with dementia
• Available Monday to Friday
• Transport to and from is at cost to service user
• Lunch can be provided at cost to service user
• Daily activities
