Relief General Assistant

Job Purpose

To undertake all necessary general and specific duties, ensuring a clean, safe and tidy environment, , using where appropriate, specific equipment and PPE.

The post holder will be expected to carry out one or more of the following tasks:

 Keep designated public and non public areas clean and tidy in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and Infection Control Policies and Procedures
 Support the Cook as required to help prepare and serve meals in accordance with Food Hygiene regulations and ensure the highest levels of hygiene and best practice in food preparation areas
 To ensure that the kitchen area, store cupboards, all kitchen equipment and utensils are kept to the standard required of the current Food Safety Legislation
 Able to work with others co-operatively (both internally and externally) in order to achieve better services and customer focused outcomes
 To operate as a member of the wider team in , whilst demonstrating a drive and desire to improve performance
 To help deliver equality of opportunity to staff and service users
 Undertake laundry duties where necessary
 Assist with stock Take where appropriate.

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
 Experience of general assistant support in a customer focused environment.
